ABOUT THIS SITE

Photography Corner is a regularly updated photo album designed by myself, featuring travel photography from various locations around Europe and the USA. In this album, I've assembled some favourite photographs from my walks in Poland, Great Britain, Ireland, France, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Italy and the States.

I'm particularly interested in landscape, urban and street photography as well as macro photography.

I am proud to say that I was approached by London's Saatchi Gallery who invited me to participate in their new development on their website, which assists artists in raising their profile. See my page on Saatchi Gallery here.

I aim to update this site with new photos and desktop pictures every week. However, if it's not updated for a while, that means that I'm travelling and you can expect photographs from a new place very soon! My website also includes travel tips for your information, if you are considering following any of the routes featured on these pages. If you have any other questions, I am always happy to answer them all if I can!

All the photographs were taken by myself with different Nikon cameras and were resized to the resolution of 533 x 400 pixels or 600 x 400 pixels for this website. My most recent photographs were taken with Nikon D50.

My name's Rafal and come from Poland where I studied English philology and got a degree.
I used to teach English to teenagers at Polish schools. After I moved to live in London, I teach Literacy, Numeracy and IT to young people from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. I speak Polish, English and Spanish.

I love travelling and simply can't live without looking forward to going somewhere, so I have to make sure I always have a ticket booked for my next journey.

In my free time, I enjoy doing sports... football, roller blading, volleyball, tennis, jogging, swimming...
My other interests include lingustics, geography and graphic design.
